Your Intolerance Isn't My Intolerance
If you've bought food recently, restaurant, supermarket or food truck you know we have way more choices in what we can eat. Between Lactose free, Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Grain Free, Meat Free aka Plant based foods; it seems like the choices are endless. Gone are the days of pretending to be a rabbit because for whatever reason you couldn't eat meat or dairy so salad was the only option.
Now it seems as though some people are priding themselves on eating certain "Free" foods, and bashing others for not seeing it that way. It has gone from trying to convince a person why they should try your way of eating, to questioning their character because their dietary restrictions aren't the same as yours.
We are all different, just because Bob chooses to eat a steak doesn't make him a tyrant. Nor, does having an almond milk latte make Susan the food police. Their choices say that they like what they like. So let's have a vegan sausage, Impossible Whopper, Regular Whopper, Cow Milk, Goat Milk, Oat Milk or whatever.
Do what you believe is best for you and your lifestyle, and make some friends along the way.
