One of the craziest feelings is to watch what you put so much effort into a your not the one receiving any of the benefits, but yet you keep being asked to put in all of the work.
I don't think that some people understand that when they keep giving the fruits of your labor whether be attention, gifts, time to someone else or, even payment to someone else; really shows that they don't appreciate what you do.
People tend to get emboldened with it when you ask about it saying stuff like "Well, you know how they are.", "You know what it is.", "You know what I have going on." As if you should be pacified by walking on eggshells for a situation that you did not create.
